When it comes to furthering God’s Kingdom, that means we must be committed in 3 key areas: Remain, Rescue, and Restore. In everything we do relationship is the key, because that is the driving factor from gospel conversations to disciple making. This quote represents those words: “Jesus personally died for us on the cross, so we must be personal in our Gospel witness by personally sharing a personal gospel from the heart to others.” Our goal and purpose here is to always focus on relationship building, because that is the building block to move us towards Value 1 with our disciples. The only way to make that happen is by Remaining, and we can do that in one of two ways. First we remain with those we are already in relationship with and continue to pour into those to further the gospel and disciple making. That would include our family, neighbors, co-workers, friends. Second we would remain in another part of the community where we do not have established relationships, but we remain there to build those relationships on the foundation of the gospel.

Not only do want to Remain, but we also want to focus on Rescue. This happens by sharing the gospel to those we are in relationship with and those we are building relationship with, but our purpose in relationship is to share the gospel. Our relationship with Jesus should always lead us to sharing the gospel with others.

Finally we want to Restore. Restoration happens when we are in relationship with Jesus and pursuing after him into holiness. That should be the goal with every relationship we have in our lives. Restoration is all about transformation. ‘Transforming the culture around us by reflecting the glory of God in living life-on-life with people to set the captives free, care for the broken, to sacrificially love all people and to reconcile them to God.’ 

Our focus here is two-fold:

1. We must be committed to Remain to build relationship founded on the gospel, Rescue others from their sins, and Restore them back to Christ
2. We must be committed to Transforming the culture around us by reflecting the glory of God through our lives to impact lostness in every way
